Hi my name is Dr Sandy Haas, I practice in Windsor Colorado. I'm one of the CBP instructors. I've known Fred since the first day he entered our world. I started attending his seminars in the early days, kind of moved away from it and now we're back to learn all this new information that he's added to his boot camps. I could just tell you everyone who's out there, the importance of bringing your staff. Every time we came before, we always thought who did we forget to bring and why didn't we bring them? Even today I only brought our associate chiropractor and our office manager. All we kept thinking was all the other people that should be here, even our nurse practitioner, even our physical therapists that works for us, all the way down to our nutritionist. Every body should be here because it's not just what they're teaching for the chiro or the chiro staff to learn, the principles apply just the same.
For me, if you're here, if you ever have the opportunity to come to one of these awesome boot camps. You truly need to, when you implement these systems into your office have your staff go in the exam room. Tell the patient that they're scribing for the day. Have them listen to what the doctor's saying because the disconnect will always occur is the doctors carrying out something or the staff is carrying out all these awesome systems and tools that they learned and they're really educating that patient. But then they spill out into the office and the rest of the staff doesn't know or they're not on board. They don't know the systems, they don't know the relationship between the spine correlation to the organs. Now they get off cue and now the staff is back to getting caught up in the patient's' story line, which is maybe their pain. They're so fixated on pain, next thing you know that staff is nowhere near what the focus or the culture of the practice is, which is focusing on spine and organs.
Now they're gone to spine and pain. Now you can actually make a momentum shift and the whole staff can forget the whole principle of why we're doing what we're doing. To me the best advice is don't come alone, come with your staff, embrace it all, learn it all. If you can't afford for them to all come, that's fine, do what I said. Make sure somebody's sitting in the ROF room, the exam room and they're like a scriber. That's what you could tell the patient but they're getting that first hand experience and they know what the doctor's communicating because they have to say the same thing or else you're not creating a culture. It's a culture created by one person versus the whole team.
I think that anybody and everybody will benefit. Everybody: front desk, back office staff, everybody because if you're going to get that patient to articulate to the public how important it is to have spinal correction and have that perfect full spine. Then honestly if you're staff can't communicate it, then how effective are you going to be as a doctor? Getting your patient to now carry that message, they're your effective marketing tools. Anyways, gotta come, it's amazing, it's awesome. Everybody loves Fred, so that makes it easier.
